Eva Garde

Eva Garde, PhD, is a Danish biologist specialized in Arctic marine mammals. Her main focus has been on age estimation and life history of narwhals in Greenland but her areas of interest and expertise are broad within the fields of Arctic marine mammal biology and ecology, conservation and management. Eva has for a period worked as an Arctic biologist in the WWF World Wildlife Fund in Copenhagen, where she has dealt with Arctic nature and wildlife issues and at multiple occasions she has participated as an expert in the North Atlantic Marine Mammal Commission (NAMMCO) Scientific Working Group.
